Pat Kennedy
Former CTW
Board President died February 23, 2003. We honor her life and appreciated
the most extraordinary contribution to the Children's Theatre Workshop.
On February 23,
2003 Children’s Theatre Workshop lost a real friend in Pat Kennedy.
Pat was a member of the Junior League of Toledo and the American Association
of University Women which together founded CTW in 1953 with the purpose
of providing theater training for area youth using the motto “theater
by children for children”. She served in every capacity at CTW
for over 40 years. Pat left us and our community with a tremendous legacy
through the thousands of children whose lives she touched. CTW and all
the wonderful people supporting our mission are here today because of
her efforts, and we carry on knowing that we are continuing the program
that she spent a lifetime building. Donations in Pat’s honor can
be made to the Patricia Kennedy Scholarship Fund to help pay the tuition
for children whose family cannot afford it..... Ann Flagg
